Cisco IronPort Training

Attendees should possess the following background knowledge and skills:

• Knowledge of IP routing, and TCP/IP services, including DNS, SSH, FTP, SNMP, HTTP and HTTPS, is assumed
• High level understanding of web proxy servers is assumed
• High level understanding of web security concepts and technologies is assumed
• Some familiarity with the Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) is desirable

This comprehensive training course covers how to install, configure, operate and maintain the Cisco IronPort S-Series Web Security Appliances or WSA. The course consists of presentations and hands-on labs. The course is designed to be delivered over two full days or four half days. After successful completion of the course, the participant will be able to perform a customer evaluation. The participant will also be able to describe, configure, administer, and troubleshoot:
