Hitachi Data Systems Training

This five day Instructor-led course provides details on how the deployment of Hitachi virtualization software solutions will help maximize efficiencies within the customer’s storage infrastructure. The course introduces Hitachi Data Systems Virtualization and Data Mobility strategies and tools. In addition, this course presents performance issues related to internal and external storage as well as issues related to migration between thick and thin volumes.

The course includes numerous hands-on lab activities designed to build key skills necessary to configure and setup software products presented during the course and resolve performance.

Upon completion of the course, the learner should be able to:

• Describe the Hitachi Data Systems Virtualization and Data Mobility Strategy and Tools
• Describe how operations with Hitachi Tiered Storage Manager software help resolve issues related to migration between RAID groups (performance and new capacity)

• Perform data migrations between RAID groups, external, internal, normal and Dynamic Provisioning (DP) volumes
