Prerequisites

Each delegate attending this course should complete the following classes or posess equivalent experience / knowledge:

  • Cisco BTS 10200 provisioning course
  • Cisco ICCR / CNR course
  • CVOICE
  • SS7 (Centrepoint Consulting)
Course Content

This hands on course provides the methodology and tools required to deploy CEVOICE over Cable 1 solutions that utilise the Cisco BTS 10200 Soft Switch for call control.
Participants learn during lab sessions. With general guideline instructions, participants will formulate and perform all of the tasks required to deploy a cable solution utilising the BTS 10200 softswitch

  • Introduction
  • Determine Deployment Requirements
  • Design Deployment Documents
  • Install all required hardware
  • Install all required software
  • Provision BTS 10200 Softswitch
  • Provision the catalyst 6509
  • Provision MGX 8850 and VISM cards
