The Fundamentals of Project Management

As a project manager you are dependent on project members for estimating expenses. In this course the methods are treated that go beyond pure estimating by experts. It is shown how the whole team is ideally included in the estimate in order to better recognize inaccuracies. Exact guidelines for carrying out the estimation process are presented and practiced. The practical methods of both use-case estimating and agile estimating are shown. Special stress is put on the correct calibration of the estimates for a gradual improvement of the resources.

You will become familiar with the basic methods for estimating expenses in IT-projects.  You will be able to apply them accurately in practice, to interpret the results of the estimates and to check them accordingly within the IT-project.
